I am curious. If I order the sport pkg on the 550 it supposedly comes with run flat tires. Do you also get a spacesaver spare? If not what do they put in the spare tire space?

I doubt it.

But if you get the spare, it's good to have when you change to non RF's

In the US, the sport package includes a spare tire. I don't think other countries get this.

When my Wife bought the 330xi (2003) she got a full size spare with a 5th BMW alloy wheel that matched the other 4. Boy did they save money when they went to runflats.

I got a spare and a jack. If you get a flat somewhere where you can't readily get a replacement you might need it.

Are you serious. Why would they do that. They should save the money on the spare if they arent going to put in a jack. Not logical.
