Default Rubbing on only 1 side

I recently changed the tires on the same wheels I've been driving on for the last 4 years and just now having rubbing issues every time I hit a ditch or bump on the road. The tires are the same size and the tread depth are the same from the previous tires. The oddest thing is that the rubbing is only on the passenger side rears. On the front it rubs only when I'm turning up on an incline or down a ramp. Has anyone experienced this issue? Any ideas if it's an alignment or another issue? Please advise. Thank you.

John

John, stop driving through ditches with a BMW! Ha, have you looked at your shocks to see if they have weakened? That would be my guess if everything is the same.

Those constructions in Houston are almost impossible to avoid Tony. lol How can you tell if your shocks are worn out? I looked but haven't seen any leakage or anything. The rebound on the car when I push down on it still seems stiff. Could this be an alignment issue? Or could an alignment fix it? I got a quote at the dealership for $240 for an alignment but if that doesn't solve the problem it'll be a waste of money. It's shaving off my tires a bit at a time...sucks!

Maybe take it by a tire shop and show them and ask if they think it might be shocks.

I've taken it to NTB where I bought the tires but they can't figure out what the cause of the problem could be.

Thanks for the info Allen. I was told the same from other tire shops. But do you think the shocks has anything to do with this rubbing issue?
