Great articles on RFT"s. No matter what most of the people on this site think about how bad the RFT's are fore one reason or another RFT's are the tire of the future.
cheers

True.

However, have you purchased a replacement set? The Dunlop run flats run well over $400 per tire and considering you will be lucky to get 25k out of a set, I find the Mich PS2's and the Continental Sport Contact 2's to provide a better ride with equal handling at a much lower cost.

Further, since I have not had a blowout/flat on the road for the past 25 years, I don't find the huge advantage of the runflats for the cost. Having said that, I am sure I will get a blowout going to work tomorrow.

But like many things it is personal preference.

BTW: what is the deal with the title of this post "Roundels"?

Roundel is a publication of the BMWCCA. The BMWCCA is an organization dedicated to the needs of enthusiasts who particularily love BMWs. If you fashion yourself as an enthusiast, then explore this website and JOIN, as the benefits are numerous and the annual dues are only $40.

Attached is the article on the controversial runflats.

They may be in your future Vern, but clearly, they aren't in mine.

Cheers,
