don't want to thread jack but I'm also thinking of doing a roof wrap however I'm worried that with the cold Canadian winters that the vinyl will not hold up. Does anyone have experience with the vinyl in the winter?

No experience with it in the Canadian winter, but in Europe a lot of my friends have the 3M wrap without issues. Once you have it installed (or ideally install it yourself) you'd be really surprised how well it holds up to the elements.

I cut vinyl for installation on tractor trailers. They have to stand up to all kinds of weather, not to mention the pressure washes (kinda hard to hand wash a tractor trailer while on the road). The vinyl we use is not the best quality, entry level 3m/Gerber, and it holds up for years.

Thanks guys, look like I shouldn't have to worry too much about the winter.
