No it's gets power from KL_30G. Pins 3 & 4 are the only pins that go to x13252 which are the CANs for the sensor as I wrote in my post. I'm confused on the confusion. It gets power when the car wakes by unlocking door or terminal R activation. The KGM has nothing to do with RLS power. You need to be looking at F55 in the boot and go from there. You have proven that the CAN lines are working by supplying power and it showing amber in ISTA.

thanks for the reply, but the fuse 55 is not the right one for my model. Its fuse 66 in the trunk(20amps). I got a 15 amp fuse in it(measured 0 volts), I dont know why, replaced it with the 20 amps one(finally got 12v!!!)

but the rain light sensor doesnt get 12v on pin 1, it gets 0 volts.
as for the ground
it doesnt get any ground either pls help

do i have to trace the cable from fuse 66 to pin1(rls?

Yea I was guessing at the year of your car since you're asking for help with partial information. Year model and steering position matters. If it is not F55 then it's F56. RLS does not connect to a 15a or 20a fuse. Never have in a E60. It will only be a 5a. So check F56 and fix.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME!!!!! MY RLS is working now. Even though the diagram says F66, my fuse f56 was blown just as you said, replaced it and now it works like a charm!!
