Yea, the only reason the Lincoln did so well was because it is turbocharged. All the others where NA and at altitude, the FI engine looses a lot less HP.
They should re-test at sea level and see what happens.

sad day indeed. and i too didnt like the design at first, but now i think it's one of the best car designs out there.

E60 = One of the Greatest Cars of All Time. Like the Eiffel Tower it was was controversial and it achieved icon status with a lasting influence in its design field. The F10 is very timid in comparison.

Hold your horses!

The E60 and E61 are produced in Dingolfing and in Munich. Baring in mind that the F10 will be delivered in March it makes sense that they discontinued the E60, but they have not stopped the production of the E61 in Munich (for example) as it is still to be ordered/produced until Summer 2010.

If the F10 grows on me I'll get the '13 M5 after I turn in my '10 E60 M5. I ordered my M5 in November because I knew of the pending doom.

Glad to know I will receive my brand new 530i E61 tomorrow^^one of the last produced

Such a great car that I decided to order it again. next car will be in 5 years..maybe F10 LCI
