All, thanks again for the help on this. I finally spent this morning finishing my task. I found that hitting them from the inside out worked best. I did buy a rubber mallet and some WD40. Thanks again!

...and don't forget the anti-seize compound on the contact faces, and the lug nuts when you put the new set on.
