No problem. Curious, when you saw your bulb out, did you replace it?

 

I haven't done anything yet. It's been too damn cold the last few weeks. I'm just trying to determine what my options are at this point.

 

For some reason my right HID fog light keeps going out, the bulb is good and i changed the ballast. It works for a day and then it goes out, this is the second time, i may have to take my car to another shop, anyone had a problem with HID's in their fog lights?

 

I think in the U.S. we call them back-up lights, no?

I don't consider the amber lights that go on with your headlights parking lamps because, well, they're on all the time when it's dark whether you're parked or not.

 

I got a rear parking lamp malfunction yesterday and my blub was out so i went to check it out and noticed the ground wire started to melt the socket clip. When i pushed the ground wire in, the blub cam eback on so now i will beef up the ground wire to a bolt on the rear out the car.

 

I had the same problem last summer. The dealership covered it under warranty.

 

Had this same issue yesterday when I started up my 04 530i, and as usual it was gone by the next car start..

I also noticed mine acts up more after a good rain..
