Hi all!
First question
On my previous car Skoda
the on board computer kept track of for long I'd been driving. I think that was i neat function to check ride time from A to B.
Second question
I know I can turn off the iDrive screen, but the backlight is still on. Is it possible to turn it off the backlight?
Thanks for a great forum!

I use the onboard car data screen and trip screen to keep up with drive time and eta. This may be a feature of Nav. If so, could you use the stop watch feature to time a trip?
I do not know how to totally shut down the backlit screen.

Thanks for the reply...
The thing is that I never remember to start the stop watch or reset the trip screen...

I haven't tried this so I don't know if it will do anything, but what if you adjusted your brightness first, so that it was at the lowest setting, and then tried turning off the screen? I don't think that would eliminate the backlight, but it might make it a little bit better. Just a guess.
