Whenever I shift in reverse, my right side mirror moves down (approximatly 50 degrees from the original position). I like this feature but I think it moves down too much and kills its usuefullness for me! Is there a way to change how far it goes down? (I would like it to rotate no more thant ~20 degrees)

Nope -- you can only disable it from tilting down by switching the mirror selector switch from the left to the right...

(I know at least some M-B cars let you pre-program where the mirror ends up in tilted mode -- I don't understand why BMW can't add that feature to their cars...)

You can really appreciate it if you parallel park quite a bit - shows curb in relationship to passenger side tires -

Or you can unfold them from thier parked position whilst they are covered in a layer of ice as I did the other day.

They unfolded but did not stop until the glass was facing out towards the opposite side of the road.................... stupid car. :'(

OK for the guy wanting to comb his hair in the car next to me but usless for thier purpose.
