retro fit of lci AC knobs

My Ride: Just gone-520d m sport- Jet Black- Dakota Leather black- AluCube interior,
On order- F10 520d SE-Titanium Silver
I've seen pictures of the aircon control knobs on lci models and wondered if anyon knows whether they can be retro fitted to pre lci e60s with standard AC? I think the existing controls look like they belong to a Nissan from the 80's.
