Hello all:
I've got a 2005 E60 530i and had to have a leak patched on one of my tires. The TPMS warning came on before, and is still on after the fix. (Assuming Schwab didn't reset it). I was worried because my iDrive only works intermittently. Is there a way to reset the TPMS without using iDrive on an E60? Any tips are helpful!
Thank you!

No normal way to reset it without iDrive working.
Possibly there is something in one of the OBD tools to reset it -- not sure.

There are a couple things I would try for your iDrive. They probably aren't going to fix it, but they aren't hard to do and you might get lucky.
My iDrive would continuously reboot when I had a burned DVD in the Nav drive. That DVD was fine for a long time, but at some point the car just didn't like it. I ejected it and all was fine.
The iDrive CCC unit has a personal computer type fan on the rear. If that fan has died or barely turns, the CCC may just be overheating and that could be your problem.
