Weather the system needs the battery registered or not..............there sure is a hell of alot of people running around without going to the dealership that have had no issues.

I'd really like someone to explain in detail how this works and why it won't work/what could happen by just swapping out the battery without registering it. The draw on the battery/electrical system as a whole is up and down all the time so the system has to adjust both on its charging side and output side on the fly continously. As long as the battery is the same specs as the OEM I don't see how it would matter. To me the system has to adjust no matter what and weather its told its a new battery or not the system should still adjust.
