Reset the Oil Service Indicatior Change?

Yes, I would say this is an indication of a weak battery. Do you know how old it is?

Two years old. Its not BMW Battery and I did not get the programming done.

I tried the exact same procedure as from the manual several times, and mine would not reset ither, till I CLOSED the door, and then worked perfectly.

I had all the doors closed every time I tried. What manual? The owners manual? I have been following various procedures I found on the internet.

i just reset my brake pad warning.... it was way red , but it reset.....

i must be doing something wrong. i had all doors closed, removed key and re-inserted it as required, had the date showing, cleared the trip odometer. it still ain't resetting the oil service indicator though. (

When you get the the "RESET?" for the engine oil, you pressed the button for 3 secs for "---" and released?
