Question Request: Pics/videos of Burger Motorsports (BMS) chargepipe installtion

Can anyone link me to either pics of a completed Burger Motorsports Chargepipe intallation on a E60 535i (N54), or better, a video?

I'm trying to do the install and it's a bear. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

There is plenty out there for the 135i and 335i N54, but not the 535i. Nothing on the manufacturer's site.

Thanks in advance.

Actually bought one of these for my E61 535xi, hopefully useful information for you, but it does not fit.
There is another post on this forum about the pipe not fitting as well. (note - this is NOT intended to bash BMS, just to inform)

https://5series.net/forums/e60-e61-p...s-535i-150458/

It is waaaay too tight against our (in my case, E61 535xi, LHD) power steering lines on the frame rail.

I smashed mine in about half an inch in the spot where the lines were, still wouldn't fit right. Waste of 140 dollars, can't return it now obviously, which is a shame. (engine mounts are not worn out either)

Currently looking at the best next option, as my stock charge pipe probably wont hold 17psi for much longer lol

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

I'm not trying to bash BMS either, but this product "just ain't right". I'm decent with a wrench and I'm sure that It simply doesn't fit.

Hopefully BMS will make it right and offer a new charge pipe for the E6x owners who bought it.

BMS states that it "fits as intended" if you talk to them.

It is pretty obvious that the charge pipe for the E6x series owners is such a small market that they'd rather deal with the negative fallout rather than redesign one for us and offer it at a discount if you can prove you purchased one..

Oh well, live and learn, hopefully other people will see this!

UPDATE: A while back I installed an Evolution Raceworks charge pipe and it fits and works as expected. Customer service is top-notch.
