I thought it did as well he said it was just a cover? I'm going to look into what exactly the recall was. Thanks!

Okay, so based on that link it's not the battery cable that connects directly to the battery itself. It's more like the connector that connects "that" cable to the main bus cable that runs to the engine area.

UPDATE:: So BMW NA declined my good will to replace the BST battery cable. I had to end up using my extended warranty company. I also had to replace my thermostat it was one of the faults that was coming up when they ran the initial diagnosis. The total bill came out to $1271.99 but I only paid $50 since work was through my extended warranty. Got the car back today.
