i bought a pair of Ds1 6000k from a trusted vendor that i always buy my HIDS from. But when i went to go replace the Oem osram hids, the 6000k wont light up. I know the bulbs are not defective because they were tested in front of me. im thinking its probably because its not 35w like the oem and the igniter part of the bulb was a little bigger also. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can resolve this problem. Maybe some kind of cable can bypass or trick the computer into thinking its 35 watts.

i haven't done this mod but i would assume getting the same 35w bulbs will do the trick. i know for sure that the difference in wattage will make it malfunction or cause some severe harness problems in the future such as melting down. just my .02!
