Just curious why you would do that.

Can't help with the OP's question, but the M5 front bumper does not have fog lights. With the lights useless and disconnected, he needs to know how to remove the error message...

because i have m5 front fenders and the bumper alignment was off. plus the m5 bumper looks 1000 times more aggresive than the m-tech. i didnt realize it until i saw my car side by side with an m5. now my entire car has m5 body with hartge rear diffusser, ac shnitzer rear roof spoiler. ill try and post pics but i cant seem to get them to post directly to the post. i know i can do it with links.

imsortabigdeal has the m5 front before he switched out to mtech. I remember he left the lights in there and wrapped it with foil so water wont go in the lights. pm him for more details

I would go m5 too, but I love my fogs

+1 Let's see some pics! I'm planning on doing the m5 conversion as well. How much did the whole kit cost?

I agree that the m5 body is more stunning than an mtech by 10x! I care less about the foglights because i don't ever see the need for it. I think the stock HID headlights will do the job on foggy situations. I also don't drive around with fogs on when there's no fog!
