Repairing Scrape on Style 172 M Rim
I was sitting at work today looking outside, and this guy in a 745i is trying to parallel park and can't worth shit. His rear right tire hits the curb 3 times then he backs up again and is so close that his wheels scrape (and they were scraped even before he backed up). So I made a comment to a co-worker about how stupid the guy was not caring about his car.
Cut to me, an 2 hours later coming back from my lunch break. My friend was leaving so I was going to take her parking spot on the street and there was a car behind me so I was rushing and as I pulled forward I scraped my rim. My heart sank. I've had this car 6 months and didn't have one scrape before this because I was always so careful. Karma's a bitch.
I can post a picture of this so you can get a more accurate look (I'd say it's a 4 inch long scratch on the lip of the wheel. Has anyone gotten their wheel repaired, and if so how much? Thanks

find a local guy thats recommended in your area.. the first one hurts the most.. ive had my 172 repaired once and i didnt like it, then i had it done again by a guy i found and it came out amazing.. cant remember exactly what i cost but one wheel shouldnt be more then 100- 125 bucks.. you can sometimes even wait for it to be fixed or throw a spare on and suck it up and let him do his work. if hes good it will come back looking brand new.. good luck.. cheer up
