I'm having a dilemma with my front bumper. It has all types of pitted rock chips and other blemishes on it and it really bothers me. The rest of my car is almost flawless. I want to repaint it. However, I also wouldn't mind upgrading to a MTec replica since no matter what I decide I will still have to get it painted. It's just that upgrading will be even more $$$.

What you you guys do?

painting a virgin bumper will almost always be cheaper than stripping a pitted bumper and repainting it. Of course there are minimum charges too.

A lot of factors really. If you get Mtech bumper, it'll obviously cost more... but you'll also more likely to get the sides and rear soon, lol.

Depends on your budget, a respray of the front bumper runs about $300 vs new mtech bump w/ paint $650. Which ever route you go with, I would invest in a clear bra for the bumper and hood.

I actually have a used OEM Mtech bumper(08) that is already painted in alpine white but obviously would need to be repainted. Only has minor scratches on the bottom which will never show and get covered by paint anyways. I can save you a good amount if your interested. shoot me a PM
