Before I break something and get all pissed off at life, can someone tell me how to remove part # 2? I'm assuming its just held in by inserts, but I want to know for sure instead of guessing.

You have to pop the hazard\ door luck switch off first. Best to use plastic trim tools so you won't scuff anything up.

Not really. You can pry it from the passenger door and pull slightly. There is a connector that you can pull for the hazard/door lock. I have mine still connected as the trim is sitting on top of the dash.

Agree with just pulling gently but firmly starting at the passenger's side... it just pops out. No need to remove the hazard switch until everything is apart and in your hand (then you can easily pull the hazard switch off).

You start taking it off from the right side. Just pull it up. There's few clipses there. When you are at the last clip it's different way around. Just move the trim to left and wola. You also need to take blinker and door lock putton away to take it off..
