Removing clip from bulb

Any idea how to remove the black power unit from the metal clip? Have tried to open the metal clips and pull but its just not going.

Any help would be great!

There is at least one tab and maybe two - one on each side. Lift carefully on the white tab and/or push the black square in the middle of it. It also looks as though there are tabs further down towards the base...

That looks like the H7 bulb for the AE's..the bulb just pulls out of the clip which is attached to the electrical connector. To replace bulb, just pull straight out. If you want to remove clip (which is there to latch on to the headlight assembly), pull clip out of the two tabs on either side simultaneously to release. Careful on the clip release as it may 'fly' upon tab release as mine did and lodged itself deep in the engine bay!!
