In my case, we have disconnected the battery and removed the drivers trim unplugging all the connectors and we have just added Alpine tweeters.
However on the passanger door we could not detach the airbag connector and again with disconnected battery and after assembling Idrive is reporting a faulty passanger airbag.
Now, I went to the dealer to reset the car and he saw that we have removed front door trims, disconnected all the plugs and battery was disconnected. However, he did not reset the passanger airbag fault since audio guy needs to check if everything is connected properly.
I am definately sure that we did not damage anything, just tried to disconnect the airbag plug which seems to be stuck. Maybe the connector just needs to be pressed more firmly into the housing?
How the hell can a car know what you did without the battery?
