Hi,

I was hoping to get this cleared up. I currently just got myself a 525d SE 3.0l 2008 auto with 91k miles.

I am going to run it for a couple of weeks, keep checking the codes for any faults. I will then get my garage to do a full service including auto gearbox oil change.

I get all my cars remapped using Superchips who come to your house, never had a problem but all my cars have been manual and petrol.

Remap kings state they can get these specs, keeping in mind engine wear and tear so probably not quite as stated:

Bhp original 197bhp, modified 261 bhp
Torque original 419nm, modified 539nm.

I have been reading and reading and I am seeing a lot of people say do not do this auto transmission as the torque is to much. Other people say it is completely fine.

I don't want to break the car, so any advice would be great.
