In an effort to give back just a little to the forum that's given me so much, I present my Euro reflector install.
Here's an aft view of the car with the stock, black inserts.
A close-up of the port side black insert. Note the damn excess wax!
Removing the black inserts using a small screwdriver and a protective cloth.
This a pic of the black insert during removal.
After the removal- the empty hole. I cleaned out the wax.
Here are the replacement parts. Thanks to ExGMan for the part numbers.
Installing the new reflector.
Note the metal spring on the inboard side.
The new reflector- neatly installed.
After doing the same thing on the starboard side, here's the aft view with both reflectors installed.
I spent a whole lot more time putting together this post than I did installing the reflectors. Seriously. It's so easy a caveman can do it.
