Has anyone tried purchasing reconditioned OEM wheels ? are they any good? What are the risks of purchasing these?

I am thinking of picking up some OEM 172s from here .. pretty decent prices @ $239 & $249. What do you guys think ?

I would just have yours reconditioned.

we have guys here on craigslist that will do a set of 4 curbed wheels for less than $200

 

Well I dont have these wheels.. I am thinking of making them my primary. I currently have the OEM 124s.

 

Cant believe no one has any feedback on reconditioned wheels.

Someone on here must have sampled these.

all depends on who does it and how well they do it

but usually they come out good and without problem

 

I too would like some more opinions on reconditioned wheels, specifically the ones from Finish Line Wheels . com .

I'm thinking of buying a Style 123 "OEM Reconditioned" from them for $207 shipped.

Just wondering if its worth rolling the dice to get a true rim when I can get a new one shipped for $330 or so......
