Recall: Oxygen Sensor

My Ride: 2004 BMW 545i, Olivin Green, w/Sports Package, basic stereo, chrome wheels, tinted windows, Bluetooth enabled with Moto V710 (Verizon), Sirius Sat Radio (aftermarket), Auxiliary Input for Ipod.
Are you aware that there is a recall? The service tech said there was a recall on 2004 for Oxygen Sensors. My receipt says "Recall 046E-A04 Reprogram DME for Oxygen Sensors"
This was also written in the work order. Can someone decipher what this means? It doesn't sound good to me. Unfortunately I don't speak BMW-eese.
"8609 recall to updated DME software updated vehicle including cas as per SI120504 work package #3 E60. Mask-S failed to program. Special measured Mask-S. Rear windows failed to initialize. Special measured KBM"

Had mine done last week - no issues - the DME campaign was CA only, far as I can tell. The text they inserted makes it look like they had some trouble with the software, but resolved it. Should be no biggie, as long as it's all okay in the end.
