i just called bmw na and they said the recall is vin specified and mines not under recall which is bs cuz i have the exact problem with the lights alluminated and on my dash as well, so annoying.
Be patient
I was having the problem off and on before, called BMW NA and wasn't included in the recall. Then yesterday I got the letter. Maybe they're just doing it in waves as to not overload the dealers with repairs.
