Default The real truth about M5board vendor Troy Jeup...

For those who don't know Troy Jeup, he's an M5Board vendor and sources engines/transmissions for E60 M5 and E63 M6s.

Here's a seller feedback regarding two members who bought engines from him, basically he's a crook and stay as far away from him as you can:

Have you dealt with him personally? I've recommended members to him from here before and told them about that thread BUT, unlike you, I didn't automatically call him a crook. Have you read thru the entire thread? If so, you know that they both were basically asking for money back and the engines he sent them were already installed. At the end of that thread, my conclusions were I would say neither party was right and both made mistakes. Add to the fact it was halfway around the world made it even worse. Just like umichchris, I don't have any interest in his business but to flat out call a man a crook, when there were obvious mistakes made on both sides seems a little harsh to me.

He seems to have some pretty good prices on individual components like brake setups, interior pieces, etc.

Well, I know what I'll be reading next Saturday morning. This looks like a good two to three hour deal, I'm going to stock up on coffee supplies now.
