Radio issues

My Ride: 2004 530i 6M
I have the base audio setup in my 04 530i. I noticed that the right side speakers play much louder than the left (with the balance in the middle, of course). To balance out the sound I have to slide the balance control to halfway between Center and Left. Has anyone experienced this? BTW I'm out of warranty...
