Radiator coolant resevoir started leaking

Did you switch the hoses around or something?? It should have been "easy as pie"!

Nope. It's the bottom tube, nothing to switch that one around with.

I think I installed that pipe first even before mounting the tank since it was a pain for me to get it to 'click' in

HealthServices Thanks to you I fixed the Upper Radiator Hose it broke on me and I was having lots of trouble finding it until I saw the picture you posted up for us. Right away I called the Dealer and picked it up. Thanks for your help my friend Stay UP!

Did you reuse the metal band securing the pipe to the radiator? How did you get it off?

This sounds like you may have been sold the wrong tank...is it possible you got one from a 550i? This should really be a no brainer and should take literally less than 10 minutes from start to finish. All tubes should snap in place and the sensor (on mine) was already installed, just unplugged the old one and plugged in the new one. I feel bad that you are having trouble, but I honestly think somebody got you the wrong part number.
