Since I have the V8 you think it's ok or is it placing to much stress on the transmission?

I've asked myself the same question...this is my humble opinion but here goes...lol...in M1 your putting a good amount of strain on the car, lot of torque on a low gear. In M3 the transmission has to slip a lot to make up for the slow speed...I think M2 would be the best... but then again, when I had the 545i, I always used M3 when I was driving around a parking lot or plaza so the tranny wasn't constantly shifting up and down...
