Hello all, I want to upgrade my Business Navigation to the Prof Navigation, I found a ccc unit to buy, the question is, can I test the ccc unit on my small monitor? I do not have any guarantee only the sellers word that it worked on the car.... in order to have the complete system I need the ccc unit, the 8.8 or 8.9 monitor and do I need a new idrive (controller) ?

Thanks again.

The main question is how can I test the ccc unit and see that it's in a working condition...

you cant test it untill its in a car, it needs all the other components to work properly, you could "power it up" but that would only prove it accepts power and ejects etc.
also you need the "high" i-drive and various wiring harneses
please use the search facility to pull up loads of threads on this very matter
good luck
david.

Thank you Dr Dave, I did use the search option, but there is not 1 thread with my question, which was if I can test the ccc modul on my small screen.

I am not sure if the dvd unit is for the prof navigation system, it has 2 slots for the dvd.... I posted a picture, can anyone confirm that I can attach this unit to the 8.9 screen and high idrive ?

Thanks again.

yes, that is the CCC professional nav unit.
and will connect to your 8.8 (widescreen monitor) and high i-drive.
