Question regarding door handle.
#1
Someone tried to break into my brother's car the other night. They ripped out the cylinder. I know a new cylinder is going to cost an arm and a leg. The part where the cylinder goes into is separate from the door handle. It has its own separate piece. Do they make a keyhole delete or can I use the piece off the drivers side rear door that doesn't have a cylinder in it. I did this on my old e36 m3 as a keyhole delete procedure. I just took the handle piece off the back door of a 4-door and used it on the front and I eliminated it like that.. Will this work on a e60? Any help and advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Don't know but you really do not need it I guess unless you lose all battery power and need a mechanical way to open the door.
