I am trying to save my office voice mail number, extension and access code in the phonebook of my car for voice command activation. I am using the save number function, but do not know how to program a "pause," which is require by the voice mail system at my office.
Does anyone know how to save a "pause"?
Thanks in advance.

I thought that the "pause bug" was fixed in version 19.01 according to the following post:

MUG3, are you saving the numbers in the phone first or through the car?

I am saving them through the car. It will take a "#" but I have not been able to create a pause, which in my CPT9000 I have programmed as a "p", and that seems to work when fine when I select that entry in my phone book.

If you dial that entry manually with the phone in the cradle, do the pauses turn into the digit 7? If so, that's the pause bug.
I think voice dialing works differently between cars that have nav and cars that don't. I assume you don't have nav and since I do, it's tough for me to help you figure out if there's anything else going on...
