Question from people with factory installed 172 wheels

33psi front/38psi rear (up to 4 passengers, ie: not full weight). This info is from the door sticker.

I have these same wheels for my summer set-up. I run 34psi (front), and 37psi (rear). This is in the general range of what the driver door label indicates. Because the non-run-flat tires have softer side walls, I tend to run at the slightly high end of the pressure range.

Thanks for your replies everyone.

It looks like there are slightly different numbers from BMW for the pressures. There are also different numbers with the same tire size depending on whether the car is an I6 or V8, etc. BMW #6, I assume the numbers you posted are in Kpa, in which case 230 is approx. 33.3 PSI and 260 is approx. 37.7PSI. This is in the ballpark with the numbers some of the others have posted too. I am going to start trying them out from the higher end and see how it works, and lower the pressures if necessary.

By the way, the tires I have are Nitto INVO 255/35-19 Front and 285/30-19 Rear.
