Yes, appreciate the info. I'm another guy that converted from pre-LCI climate controls as part of my CCC to CIC conversion.

When you say turn off the AC, do you mean the fan or just the compressor? On my LCI, there is a button with a snow flake on it that will turn off the compressor if you're getting cold, but the fan stays on. If you want the fan off, it as the others have described, use the center knob and turn all the way counter clockwise...

+1 to kscarrol's description on my 2008 535i. As I recall, my 2003 325iT and my wife's MB C230 also turn off using the fan controls.
