Not sure if it's the same sound but I always here some whining sound every now and then and it sounded like a fuel pump or some servos turning on and off. Just figured it was normal. haha

yes!! euro.. i hear it go on and off occasionally.. wierd.. anyways.. thanks.. audi goes back in june.. great car. 4.2 liter.. 340 hp.. ohh that was my baby till this one came along.. oh well.. memories...lol..

 

i hear the winding noise intermittently at the rear passenger side where the fuel pump is. it only happens after i shut off the car. my dealer told me its some kind of valve adjusting and it comes on depending how you drive?????

 

I really like the A6. Too bad it doesn't look like they'll be importing the RS6 here. I was actually looking at either an S4 or the A6 4.2 when my wife suggested I look at the 5 series. So we ended up getting a 545.

How would you rate the 550 to your A6?

 

well let me put it this way.. i absolutely loved my audi.. best friggen money(alot) i ever leased on a car and well worth it.. its fast.. drives awesome.. looks sleak IMO.. i have it with the s-line package.. wheels, suspension, badges, etc.. the navigation on it is easier and i like it better then my 550.. but when i drive the 550 now and get back in my audi.. it completely blows it away.. the 550 feels so much tighter in the steering, the ride is even smoother, handles better on turns, not to mention faster..me and hub plan on racing them together before we turn it in..

i wanted the audi in the first place cause i have 2 boys.. and to me i liked the horsepower in the audi, style etc.. BUT it had all wheel drive.. to me thats what made the audi attractive in the first place.. weather and stuff..

the dealer contacted us about deals when leaseing another audi.. but they did it a lil too late.. we tested out the 550 on a rainy day.. lol.. dealership was packed believe it or not.. and next thing you know were waiting and they were detailing the car and we took it home in a matter of hours.. so what does that tell you..
i would have probably kept another audi, cause the 08's have 350 h.p and he said we may have lowered out payment.. but.. too little too late ya know.. the 550 costs me $60 more a month then my audi.. and i fu#%ng love this car! so...
