Hi guys, im fairly new here.. but actually the other day i noticed something that is still there and bothering me.. i was near the back drivers side of my car... and i heard a whining sound.. can this be my fuel pump?? i used to have a mustang and would hear the same sound.. but ive had the car now about a month and a half and this just started....
does anyone know if thats what im hearing and if so.. what do i do about it? is something wrong? thanks.. mel

Is the car running when you hear this noise? A better description of the noise and the circumstances when you hear it would improve the response.

I don't think you're being ignored. It just sounds like you have a problem that others are unfamiliar with. What I suggest you do is call your Service Advisor and ask for an appointment. Request that a technician go for a drive so they can hear the sound too. It's all covered under warranty so all you'll end up short with is the time in your 550i. BTW, did you ever post pics of the car? :D

Don't worry Mel... When I posted my first question on this forum, I didn't get a reply for weeks and just figured everyone on here sucked. They actually still do, but I've grown to love them. :P
