Dude, sometimes you ask questions that are like
LOL
okay, if it will accommodate 19x8.5 ET35, what do YOU think will happen if you take that same wheel and add an inch of width to it without adjusting the offset to account for the added girth? Think, man! Think!![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
Get 8.5-9" wides for the front - NO WIDER. And keep in mind that the wider you go, the more you'll have to be sure you get the offsets juuuuust right - wider means you're risking rubbing on the outside AND on the inside of the tire.
Good Luck!

+ 1 on the above, I'm running style 138 - 7.5 ET43 - 225/50/17 and based own my own measurements I got:
Gap from the tire to the exterior edge of the fender:
- front = 13mm
- back = 38mm
Now the gap between the strut and the tire:
- front = 13mm
- back = 63mm
Again, this is from the edge of the tire and so there is another measurement from the tire to the rim which is 9.5mm in may case (all-season Continentals) so if the tire profile changes (e.g. due to a lower ratio), there may be another gain of 5-7mm on each side.
So basically there is huge room in the back but not as much in the front.

You can go 10 in the back
but you have to be very careful lol ![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)
no seriously, 10" for the rear... ah, crap... forget it! Just know that you can do it - search through my threads - you'll find all the 4-1-1
