Hi guys, just picked up my 06 e60 550i and got a question about the front headrest. I noticed a gap in between the seat and headrest. I am assuming that its missing the supporting neck brace thingy. Was this an option? If I'm missing it, Im definitely heading back to the dealership to demand the part missing from my cpo. Thanks , and happy new years!

Pictures please, is the gap vertical or horisontal? BTW, d not expect comfort seat pillow on 2006 E60, unless it has the comfort seats.

Have you found the adjustment to raise/lower the headrest? That may answer your question. The seat adjustment that controls the seat back is the key. Push it straight up from the bottom or straight down from the top. See if that helps...

Too late and for pictures, but yes, i pushed the adjustment control knob straight down from the top and there's still a horizontal gap about an 1/2" wide. I dont think i have the comfort seats, but do know i have the sports package. Does this mean I dont get a pillow? just the headrest? Gonna call the dealership tomorrow to confirm. Thanks for all the help and response. Will post result tomorrow.

So just got back from dealer. turns out that my vehicle does not come with the pillow headrest. Starting 07, all 550s with sports packgage did so however. Oh well, im still extremely happy with the comfort of my 550i! Happy new year to all!
