I know there must be a few theads to answer my question but search revealed only one thread with not too much information .
I'd like to know if it is possible to have a angel eye on all time when starting the car without turning the knob on pre-LCI cars
I have xenons and still OEM angels if this makes difference.
And I am thinking to replace them with mtec V3 from motorcept as they are just plug and play but I like Umnitza's Orion v2 more.
But are they also plug and play ? Can someone link me to DIY thread for installing them? I have my headlights off for polishing and would like to do AE while they are off
Thanks

check with your dealer, they should be able to turn them on for you, I had them on my '05 645ci as the DRLs and the dealer had to program them...

Yes and no. Dealer will be able to turn on/off DRL, but not designate angel eyes as DRL. For the record, only LCI xenon E60s have angel eyes set as DRL. Even LCI halogen has the high beam at lowered voltage as DRL.

To answer original poster's question, yes, it'll be possible if you have LM2, or manual wiring.

Do your research on Orion v2. There are plenty of information on this, and you really should know more about it anyway if you're considering it.
