Quess what I saw in Manhattan today?

My Ride: 2008 535xi / Platinum Grey / Black leather / Step Auto / Sport / Premium / Cold weather / 18" wheels / Logic 7 / Comfort / ipod / Navigation / Fold Down Rear Seats / Rear Airbags / Sirius SAT / Spoiler / Extended Clear bra / Bluetooth. (Previously owned a 2002 sport 525I Loaded).
On order: 535xi Platnium Grey with Black interior, Step Auto, Sports package, Premium package, Cold weather package, 18" wheels, Logic 7, Comfort access, ipod adapt, Navigation, Sat radio, Rear spoiler, Extended Clear coat bra.
I was in driving into manhattan when I saw an e61 infront of me. I was thinking nothing of it when I realized the tag said 525d. I said to myself how can it be we don't have deisel bimmers here yet. So I drove up to the car and I see the female in the drivers side and I quess her husband at the passengers side, so I thought.. 
When I pulled up and waved him to open the window he was driving. The steering wheel was on the right side. I was amased because i've never seen one in person. He had New York plates, inspection and registration. I asked him where were they from, I've never seen one here in the states and he said over seas and not much more. There was too much traffic to continue a conversation, but it was very interesting to say the least. 
I took some photos with my cell phone. I'll try and post them tomorrow.

Where in Manhattan did you see this? I was in Manhattan a good part of the day. Pity I missed it.
I was on the westside highway and 52nd street around 9:45am before the mini marathon on the westside.
