it depends on the price difference. the 07 is newer and has more options, which is nice.
just go with the car that you really like.

and extended warranties are usually a joke. you'll pay 2200, but in the fine print, it might say that the max they'll pay is 4000, or something like that.

Then definitely go CPO, I definitely think it's worth it. If you do a quick search you will find many members here who had severe issues that were either taken care of in warranty ( ) or not (like SoCalBimmer )

This is my first car with BMW that wasn't a CPO and I regret every minute of it. Everytime I have a problem the dealer tells me "You know if you had a warrantee this would be covered then tells me I owe $2000" So I say "CPO" all the way!!!!

CPO all the way.

Mine is a CPO, is really a peace of mind.

I get everything done free of charge!

There are lots of exclusions in the CPO warranty. i.e. wear and tear items: suspension, body seals and gaskets, piston
rings, valves and guides, brakes, etc. etc.
I think you're more likely to get COMPed on a repair that's not a "defect in material or workmanship" if it's a CPO.
CPO is the way to go!
