'07 530, love the car but, inserting the key fob and pushing the start button just doesn't make any sense. Anyway to bypass inserting the key and just pressing the push start?
Thanks

My E55, had the comfort access feature where I never had to take the key out of the pocket. As I got closer to the car, the door handle would sense the key and would already unlock the car. I would sit in, push the start button and off I went.
In BMW, if I am inserting the key, why not just spin it and start the car, why bother pushing the start button?.

The 530i this one replaced, did have the comfort access (forgot about that)... what a bummer, wish this one had it too
