You probably have a valid claim against whatever shop did the repair improperly ... water leaks and BMW just don't play nice. I'm afraid this will take a BMW shop to get it corrected. Good luck getting this sorted out

Take it to reputable shop. Doesn't need to be BMW shop but find a high-end reputable shop that has experience.
+1 claim against previous repair shop

You may have to get your insurance company involved.
