I just had the ipod integration installed in my 2004 525i. When I connect my Ipod Touch, I get the usual MP3 1, MP3 2,.....MP3 6. However, only MP3 1 seems to work. MP3 1 has all my ipod songs(500) and my playlist. MP3 2 - 6 does not function. I returned to the dealer to show them. One of the service guys plugged in their ipod nano and it seems to function perfectly. They are not sure why my ipod is not functioning the same. Their advice was to make playlist. But that's not what I paid for. Before I did the integration, I ask my service advisor to make sure the ipod touch is compatible. I even left my ipod there to make sure it would work.

Has anyone else out there had any trouble with there's?

MP3 5 (Podcast) seems to work.

funny you say that I was just going to input a new thread for the same issue only mp3 1 works mp 5 works also. I have about 4100 songs on my touch and about 12 seperate playlist broke down so I can access the music but not through the artist or genre's. Now it used to work and now all of a sudden it won't load any other mp3 modules. i have not used my other ipod nano or classic to see if they work. I have updated the my ipod to 3.0 and that may have something to due with it. When I had it jail broken with 2.1 it worked so it may be a firmware issue in the touch that is the only thing I can think that may be causing it

 

My Ipod touch is also running 3.1. My 30G classic seems to be working OK. Your probably right, maybe it has something to do 3.0 update.
