Pro Nav question re split screen/assistance window

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!
it sounds like with a brand new car, you are able to see nav in full screen. however, once you turn assist window on, it is permanently on and you can never go back to full screen.
so for all new car owners, if you want full screen, never ever ever ever activate assist window!
(but i could be totally wrong

When he said "full screen" he said it was "NAV, ENTERTAINMENT" so that is NOT full screen satnav, that is the main menu screen.
however, the posts above are talking about the map taking up the whole screen...
