To me, US std system is not good enough, but $1800 for L7 is a bit much is not really worth it. Aftermarket route is not as bad as I did the installation on mine and it sounds really really good.
To me L7 should cost $700 more.

Logic 7 does NOT cost $1800! It is the premium sound package that costs $1800. THe L7 system iteself cost $1200, less if you are dealing with invoice pricing.
