For those of you pre-LCI members that have upgraded to the CIC Navigation. I'm sure some of you guys probably installed the LCI climate control unit. Can you guys tell me what works and what doesn't work? The main thing I am concerned about is that I want it to blow cold air if it's hot out or hot air if it's cold out. Also to be able to turn it on and off as well as the ability to control how hard or soft the air comes out.

There's a huge write up on this, it's a little indepth, some wire swapping, new LCI controls, and trim, also needed is the proper trim around the lower bezel (where the ashtray is), and optional is the new navigation wheel.
The climate is controlled through the CIC unit now.

Update...I did the CIC retrofit along with the LCI climate control on 7/2012. I did the pin-21 mod and Patrys (who I bought the retrofit from) I believe programmed my car for the new climate control. While I never really played with the full functions of the climate control before when it was pre-LCI, the new LCI version seem to work okay. I can turn the AC or heater manually off or on, adjust blower volume from bottom, middle and upper vents, etc...
